Kumara parvatha trek - MY HIKES

Kumaraparvatha :: Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha at 1712 metres is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Karnataka.

Kumara parvatha is second highest peak in Coorg district (Karnataka state) after Tadiandamol peak. Trekking starting point is Kukke Subramanya. Famous Kukke Subramanya temple is located in Subramanya village. The trail has most stunning escapes of nature enclosed by flora and fauna on either side..

Kumaraparvatha has two trails with 26kms & 14kms

KUKKE TO KUKKE : Trek distance - 26kms - In one day

ITINERARY::

DAY 1: 10pm - Overnight journey to Kukke .

DAY 2: Early morning freshen up and a light breakfast start the trek 6.30 AM TREK STARTING POINT (KUKKE TEMPLE) TO BATTARA MANE (10.30 AM) START FROM BATTARA MANE (11.30 AM) 

EXPLORE PEAK and head to KP peak.

Start descending at 3.00pm & back to Kukke Subramanya by 7.00pm

Freshen up have dinner & relax for the night at stay.

DAY 3: 

-> Wake up at 7am

-> If anybody needs to visit temple and proceed with it.

-> After breakfast head back to Bangalore on the way visit Fort along with a break for lunch.

-> Reach Bangalore 8.00pm

(Somwarpet to Somwarpet) : Trek distance - 14kms - In one day

ITINERARY::

DAY 1: 10.00pm Overnight journey to Somwarpette.

DAY 2: Early morning freshen up and a light breakfast start the trek 8.30 AM .

REACH 1.00PM EXPLORE PEAK and have lunch.

-> 3.00pm : Start descending base camp & back to homestay

Night dinner at homestay followed by campfire if weather permits.

DAY 3: 

Wake up 7.30 am have breakfast and head to Malalli waterfalls & begin journey back

-> Reach Bangalore 9.00pm

ACCOMMODATION: HOMESTAY.

#Campfire is prohibited as its an Eco sensitive area.

#Alcohol is strictly prohibited 

Note : As entry tickets are limited it`s first in first serve for the trek.

10.00 PM: KORAMANGLA (SONY JUNCTION)

10.30 PM: INDIRANAGAR KFC / METRO STATION

11.00 PM: MAJESTIC METRO STATION

11.30 PM: GORGUNTEPALYA METRO STATION
