Kukur Tihar – Festival of Dogs Celebration

Join us for a joyful afternoon as we celebrate Tihar, the Festival of Lights, and honor our beloved furry friends during Kukur Tihar – the Festival of Dogs.

This year’s celebration will include:
Deusi-Bhailo Singing – experience the traditional songs of Tihar and share the festive spirit.
Storytelling Session – learn about the meaning of the Festival of Lights and the beautiful story behind the blessing of dogs.

Blessing of Dogs – a heartfelt ceremony to honor the loyalty and love of our canine companions. Lunch, Sel Roti, and Tea – enjoy traditional Nepali flavors in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Dogs are welcome! Bring your four-legged friends to receive blessings and be part of this joyful community gathering.

Please Note:

• Be responsible for your own pet at all times.
• Only social and friendly dogs are welcome at the event.
• All dogs must remain on a leash throughout the celebration.
• Kindly register your dog through the Google Form before attending.
