KS1 Football Tournament

Event Details

Time: 12:45pm arrival (NO EARLIER) for a 1pm start. Finished by 3pm

Venue: Tonbridge Angels, Longmead Stadium, Darenth Ave, Tonbridge TN10 3JF

Team Requirements: 5 aside 7 in total in a team. Mix of Genders encouraged but nor required

Rules/Game Play

• All players must be in Y1 or Y2
• 5 on the pitch at any one time
• All players must be wearing shin pads and correct footwear (moulded boots or trainers, no metal studs)
• Free kicks can be direct (doesn’t need to be passed to someone first before scoring).
• Players must be 4 yards from the kicking during free kicks
• Retreat into own half for goal kicks
• No slide tackling
• No Heading
• Ball is allowed overhead height.
• If the ball goes out of play, it will be kicked back in.
• Referee has the authority of the match (pupils and teachers must respect the referee’s decision- it is final!).
• When a goal is scored, play is restarted from the centre.
• Players are allowed to enter the penalty area on both ends.
• Substitutes can be made throughout the game
