Kristina Stapelfeld, Gr8 Dogs, Alec Pombriant and Miss Bones at The Lilypad

Miss Bones is the work of June Isenhart, Jasper Park, Mat Blum, and Molly Pope. Their music is confessional and danceable, built on power-pop, 60's rock, and country. They were trying to see how many different hot dog stands they could visit on tour, until everyone politely told June that they didn't feel well and would like to stop.

When change is the only constant, how will our memories oblige? Gr8 Dogs is the songwriting project of Boston musician, Connor Kennedy. Established in 2019, the years since have seen the release of one full-length ‘you asked me to come down and watch the parade’ along with a few one-off singles and EPs. The songs call to answer with the tension from sour chords and confusing structures, while reaching catharsis through a comfortable library of fingerstyle guitar, layered vocals, casiotones, sampling, and live sounds. The live performances range from solo acoustic to a 3-piece featuring talented collaborators and friends Connor Bailey & Sam Routhier. Just happy to be here tbh :~)

Kristina’s self-titled debut album was released online in January 2016, one reviewer describing the sound as "the kind of stripped-down, heartbreak folk that’s reminiscent of Rilo Kiley or early Waxahatchee". After a hiatus, Kristina is returning to the stage in 2024 to debut some new songs that dig a little deeper.

Alec Pombriant is a musician with many interests. Will he be able to calm his algorithm rattled mind enough to present a coherent set of music? Will he share songs from his eternally forth coming album in the style of post-Elliot Smith/Big Star/Beatles solo stuff? Or perhaps, will he play a set of minimal/ambient piano? No one knows! Not even Alec. But rest assured that whatever he decides will be very good, or at the very least, heavily considered. Also, thank you to Kristina for having Alec on this show and for being a constant source of inspiration.
