Friday, February 6th for the Krewe of Avant Garde' annual Masquerade Mardi Gras Ball at 6 p.m. at PYC. Advance reservations will be required for this formal gown- black tie, dinner & dancing to the sounds of the Premier Platinum Band event with mask parade & contest and presentation of royal court. Cash bar will be available. Cost for guests is $75. Avant Garde members are free with paid dues. Members, guests and interested attendees must RSVP by January 30th. Checks must be received by January 30th and should be made payable to Krewe of Avant Garde and mailed to Attn: Ball Committee at 3 Maya Court, Pensacola, FL 32507. Krewe members are reminded that Mardi Gras Parade and pre-Parade Party will be on Saturday, February 14th in downtown Pensacola starting at 11 a.m. Details will be emailed to Krewe members to RSVP - and float riders are $30/person and volunteer float walkers may participate free; bring your own beads and throws :). Float has limited space so RSVPs are required. Krewe members are reminded to wear their Krewe vests.
