He looks like a half-goat, half-demon, with horns, sharp teeth, long claws, and thick, dark fur. While Santa Claus rewards well-behaved children with gifts during Christmas, Krampus is said to come for the naughty ones.
Legend has it that Krampus punishes misbehaving kids by scaring them, hitting them with sticks, or even stuffing them into a sack and taking them away. He serves as a reminder that good behavior is important, especially during the holiday season!
