Hello again! Join us for an amazing standing acro weekend with Jelena Kikic and Nenad Savkovic Patkica from NS Acrobalance!🔹 About the workshops:
During the weekend, we will focus on two topics. Day 1 is reserved for dance acro, where we will spend the morning working on moves in which the base and flyer maintain contact throughout the movement. You’ll learn how to give weight while remaining light and how to use your whole body to carry and support your partner.
In the second round, things will get a bit spicier as we add dynamics to the tricks. Here, the base and flyer lose contact while the flyer performs acrobatics in the air.
On day 2, we’ll focus on standing acro, again splitting the day into a morning round (focusing on transitions and static poses) and an afternoon round that includes throws and catches. Part of the morning session will prepare you for the second round—so if your tempo skills need work, don’t worry!

🔹 Prerequisites for the event:
For this event, you need a stable standing bird on hands and standing foot-to-hand (with spotters not helping).
🔹 About the teachers:
Both of us are very active people. Back in 2016, when we met, we began exploring the worlds of standing and L-basing acrobatics. With backgrounds in basketball, figure skating, ballet, and Latin dance, the transition wasn’t easy—but it was fun! We tried and failed in many ways before succeeding, which made learning more meaningful and memorable.
After developing our practice, we started holding workshops and founded NS Acrobalance with regular classes and grew a community around it. Since then, we have participated in amazing festivals throughout Europe, growing as teachers and acrobats. We have also performed as a duo at Lafayette Cuisine and Cabarete in Belgrade, Serbia, and have taken part in many local and regional events.
Our biggest accomplishment so far has been organizing the first-ever Serbian Acrobatic Festival (SAFT) in August 2024, with acrobats from all over the world joining us in our backyard. These amazing experiences continue to inspire us to grow and teach in clear, accessible, and fun ways. We want everyone who comes to our workshops to leave with a positive mindset and a sense of accomplishment.
