As the founder and director of Service Design North Ltd she works closely with organisations across the North East helping them craft impactful human-centred services that harness the power of design thinking and the practical applications of AI in business.

Yulia is passionate about empowering businesses to elevate both their marketing effectiveness and innovation capabilities. Beyond her consultancy work she is also the driving force behind Mint Stitches CIC a social enterprise that champions cross-stitching as a tool for wellbeing creativity and strengthening community connections.

Your host is Caroline Hagan a Digital Consultant supporting small businesses and charities across the UK. Over 20 years experience in Web Technologies certified with Google and Meta providing a range of free and affordable resources so you can get kraken' and boost your business online.

This event is run as a non-profit all proceeds go towards covering the Venue fee's and Refreshment costs. Our event is dedicated to promoting and supporting local small businesses and we believe in the power of community!

Get Kraken aims to reduce the digital divide in the region by delivering digital skills in the form of webinars workshops and 1-2-1 support. We are a local Databank providing free access to the Internet for those in income-deprived areas.

We love to support local business and reduce the loneliness that often can be a part of working for yourself or as a startup.
