Celebrate International Women’s Month with us on March 12th, 7–9 PM at The Next Whisky Bar, featuring an exclusive KOVAL whisky tasting and crafted specialty cocktails honoring women in the whisky industry.

This evening shines a spotlight on Dr. Sonat Birnecker Hart, co-founder and president of KOVAL Distillery—one of the largest female-owned craft distilleries in the U.S. A former professor, she left academia in 2008 to revolutionize craft whisky with her vision for innovation and independence. Today, KOVAL is an internationally acclaimed brand, with distribution in over 55 countries. Beyond whisky, she is a trailblazer in business and philanthropy, earning recognition as Illinois Business Person of the Year and a federally appointed member of the Illinois Export Council.
