New, old-school band Kontusion is no stranger to the scene. Guitarist/vocalist Mark Bronzino is an underground, hardcore-punk pioneer from New Jersey who played in a slew of bigger metal bands—Mammoth Grinder and Iron Reagan, just to name a couple. He’s even collaborated with underground hip-hop weirdo Ghostemane.
In the early pandemic days of 2020, he teamed up with his old friend Chris Moore, drummer of Repulsion, Magrudergrind, Coke Bust, Vosh and many other bands, to start the old-school death metal band they’d been dreaming of for years … and Kontusion was born.
Kontusion is an evil death metal band from the east coast of the USA. Their riffs, blasts and walls of feedback reflect the darkness of a world marred by war and violence, where large scale atrocities are commonplace. Chris and Mark represent the core of the band, with musicians emerging to fill out various lineups for live performances. They have toured throughout the eastern US, Midwest and Texas, supported death thrash legends Deceased and appeared at festivals such as Maryland Death Fest. Sentient Ruin Labs released the “Demo” on vinyl, CD and cassette format in 2023.
After touring the second USA tour with Oxygen Destroyer on the west coast of the US and Canada to finish out 2024 , Kontusion will reveal their new album in February 2025 on Profund Lore.

De nieuwe old-school band Kontusion is geen onbekende in de scene. Hij heeft zelfs samengewerkt met de underground hiphop weirdo Ghostemane.
Kontusion is een kwaadaardige deathmetalband van de oostkust van de VS, ontstaan in de vroege dagen van de pandemie in 2020. Hun riffs, blasts en muren van feedback weerspiegelen de duisternis van een wereld ontsierd door oorlog en geweld, waar grootschalige wreedheden aan de orde van de dag zijn. Hun tour in 2025 staat in het teken van hun nieuwe album dat dit jaar verschijnt via Profund Lore.

Joliet, Illinois' Molder was unleashed upon an unsuspecting public in 2017. Bringing forth a blend of Thrash and Death Metal that embodies all things heavy, filthy, and unholy. The band infested themselves into the local circuit and quickly proved themselves worthy of their rising attention.
First making their mark with the debut demo, "An Act of Revenge" the band began to formulate a wider following, cementing themselves a spot in the death metal underground as a force to be reckoned with. Landing the band deals with independent labels such as; Headsplit Records, Goat Throne Records, and Rotted Life Records. If they aren't slaughtering audiences through their headphones/stereos they bludgeon their victims live, with bands like Exhumed, Autopsy, Jungle Rot, and Demolition Hammer.
Generating enough buzz to gain the attention of California's Prosthetic Records, exhuming them from the underground. Additionally, through that buzz, Molder has dominated the U.S with a slew of tours and festival appearances such as Milwaukee Metal Fest, Volcanic Strike Hawaii, and Maryland Deathfest to name a few.
Molder currently consists of Chicagoland mutants Aaren Pantke (guitars, vocals), Carlos Santini (guitar) Dominic Vaia (bass) and Kyle Pooley (drums) rounding out their strongest lineup yet. This quartet of terror are ready to chop, cut, and carve you up into "granulated chunks". After releasing their acclaimed debut full length, "Vanished Cadavers", and major label debut, “Engrossed In Decay”, Molder have teamed up with Prosthetic to defile your ears yet AGAIN with a new offering, ‘Catastrophic Reconfiguration’ out November, 8 2024.

Molder werd in 2017 losgelaten op een nietsvermoedend publiek. Ze brachten een mix van Thrash en Death Metal die alles wat zwaar, smerig en onheilig is belichaamt. De band nestelde zich in het lokale circuit en bewees al snel dat ze de aandacht waren. Ze genereerden al snel genoeg buzz om de aandacht te trekken van Prothetic Records, waardoor ze werden opgegraven uit de underground.
De band is klaar om te hakken, snijden en je in ‘korrelige brokken’ te kerven. Na hun veelgeprezen debuut ‘Vanished Cadavers’ en hun major label debuut ‘Engrossed In Decay’ heeft Molder opnieuw de handen ineengeslagen met Prothetic om je oren te bedoezelen met nieuw album ‘Catastrophic Reconfiguration’ dat eind vorig jaar verscheen.
