KOKUYOSA 2026 — North America International Yosakoi Festival
12 teams and some 150 dancers from Japan, the U.S. and Canada will gather — from Kochi, the birthplace of yosakoi, and Tokyo, to Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Lethbridge's own Setsumai Yosakoi, and a brand-new team from Winnipeg.

🏅 5:50 PM Awards ceremony · 6:20 PM Finale mass dance (Sō-odori) — everyone welcome, grab a pair of naruko and join in!

💃 Open yosakoi workshop with Chika Tamura, ZEN and Yoshihiro Kaneko — no experience needed, all ages welcome
🌿 11:15 AM Mass dance in the garden + group photo
⭐ Special guests: Chika Tamura (choreographer) & Yoshihiro Kaneko (vocalist of Narutaka). Local stage: Lethbridge taiko group Hibikiya, Eisa dancers and local kids' dance crews. Food, vendors and official merch (T-shirt, wooden medal, naruko, keychain) on site.
