Kokedama Workshop at Sprout!

Join us at Cityscapes' downtown plant shop, , for a hands-on Kokedama Workshop and learn the Japanese art of creating beautiful moss-wrapped plants. Often called "string gardens," kokedama transform ordinary houseplants into living sculptures that can be displayed on a dish or suspended in the air.

In this guided workshop, you'll create your own kokedama from start to finish, learning the techniques for shaping the soil, wrapping the root ball in moss, and caring for your finished piece at home. No experience is necessary. All materials and instruction are provided.

Whether you're a longtime plant lover or simply looking for a creative way to spend an evening, you'll leave with a unique handmade plant and the skills to make more in the future.

Each attendee will create 1 Kokedama with a 4" plant!
