The Olive Branch of Hope and The Walnut Foundation are joining forces to present a community conference focused on the impact of breast and prostate cancer within Black communities.

Join us for an important conversation that moves beyond basic cancer education to explore what breast and prostate cancer mean specifically for Black individuals, families, and communities.
Breast and prostate cancers significantly affect Black women and men, yet conversations about prevention, screening, treatment, clinical trials, genetics, and survivorship do not always adequately reflect the experiences and needs of Black communities.
This hybrid conference will bring together patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and community leaders to discuss:
- Prevention, early detection, and regular screening
- Cancer disparities affecting Black communities
- Treatment options, genetics, and clinical trials
- Patient, survivor, and caregiver experiences
- Healthy living and informed healthcare decision-making
- Community resources and practical ways to take action
Attendees will have the opportunity to access trusted, evidence-based information, hear directly from experts and people with lived experience, ask questions, and learn how to become more proactive in managing their health.
