Knowledge Sharing Workshop & Geothermal Innovation Days 2026
About this Event
Two connected events will take place at TU Delft on 13–14 October 2026:
- Geothermal Innovation Days 2026, a paid event open to geothermal professionals, researchers, innovators and industry representatives.
- Knowledge Sharing Workshop 2026, a free event presenting projects from CETPartnership Heating and Cooling, the GEOTHERMICA Initiative and the Smart Energy Systems ERA-Net.
The events share selected sessions, networking activities and the TU Delft site visit, while other sessions run in parallel and are reserved for the relevant participant groups. Please select the ticket that best matches your role.
The programme is organised in collaboration with ETIP-Geothermal, CETPartnership, the GEOTHERMICA Initiative, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Smart Energy Systems ERA-Net.

Tuesday, 13 October
Morning programme | 09:00–12:30
Knowledge Sharing Workshop sessions:
- CETPartnership Heating and Cooling project presentations
- GEOTHERMICA and Smart Energy Systems project presentations
- Parallel thematic and technical sessions
Lunch | 12:30–13:30
Available to registered Knowledge Sharing Workshop participants and Geothermal Innovation Days ticket holders.
Afternoon programme | 13:30–17:00
Parallel sessions:
- Geothermal Innovation Days programme in the theatre
- Heating and cooling project presentations in the conference room
Evening programme
Networking dinner. Participation and any applicable fee should be selected during registration.
Wednesday, 14 October
Morning programme | 09:00–13:00
Parallel programmes:
- Geothermal Innovation Days sessions in the theatre
- Closed CETPartnership sessions for funded projects and funding organisations
- Dedicated Impact and Exploitation Session for projects only
Lunch | 13:00–14:00
Included only for Geothermal Innovation Days ticket holders.
TU Delft site visit | 14:00–17:00
The visit will include selected TU Delft facilities and initiatives, including the laboratory, Canopus Drilling, the geothermal site and the aquifer storage site.
Participation is available to registered project representatives and Geothermal Innovation Days attendees. Capacity is limited to 80 participants, and advance registration is required.
Choose the correct ticket
Select “Geothermal Innovation Days” if you wish to attend the paid public and industry programme.
Select “Knowledge Sharing Workshop” if you want to joint the event as parallel session or being presenter, this ticket is free but separate registration required.
