Watch Her Win presents Knowing Your Finances, a women-focused workshop in collaboration with Ainka Munroe of Equitable Advisors, LLC. This empowering session challenges common financial misconceptions—like relying solely on a 401(k), leaving finances to a partner, or believing investing is only for risk-takers. Participants will gain timely, accurate financial knowledge to help build a secure future and protect their loved ones.

Ainka T. Munroe is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional with Equitable Advisors, LLC with over 17 years in financial services and is dedicated to helping individuals and business owners build their financial futures through asset and risk management.

Prior to joining Equitable Advisors, LLC Ainka spent four and a half years at Deloitte and Touché as an auditor of Hedge Funds, Real Estate and Investment Banking firms. Ainka's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting as well as an MBA both from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Ainka maintains a series 7, 66, 63 FINRA licenses along with the life and health insurance licenses. In2023, Ainka also became a Credentialed Holistic Financial Coach through Columbia University. With thatbackground, Ainka offers services and specific strategies to include retirement, risk management, investments, college education funding, income tax summary, estate analysis, financial statement and business planning.Maintaining a strong sense of community and a solid professional foundation are very important to Ainka.

As part of her social contribution, Ainka is Chairman of the Board for UPLIFT Inc., a nonprofit focused on Black/African Descent professionals and students in Accounting and Finance. She also serves on the board of several service organizations and is a Life Member of Zeta Phi Beta. In her spare time, Ainka enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
