Pearls have been knotted for generations to protects them from rubbing against each other, and in case the strand ever breaks, to keep the precious pearls from flying everywhere. The knots in between each pearl also provide an extra design element, especially if you play with the colour of your thread.
Join Jenny from Panache for the morning and learn the pearl knotting technique, no previous experience is required.
A strand of freshwater pearls, findings, knotting material and any tools required will be provided for you to learn to tie a strand of knotted freshwater pearls and make up your own necklace.
