Knot Tying Workshop and Ship Tour
Info: Some knots are older than charts, compasses, or engines—and they’re still used every day at sea.
Step aboard historic ship ROBERT GRAY for a hands-on knot-tying workshop where you’ll learn the essential knots sailors, explorers, and working ships rely on. No experience required.
We’ll cover practical knots like the bowline, clove hitch, cleat hitch, and figure eight, explain when and why they’re used, and give you time to practice with real line in a relaxed, small group setting. Ship tour with the Captain included!
Wine, tea, and light refreshments are included. You’ll leave with:
A working knowledge of core maritime knots
Hands-on practice with guidance
Line to take home and practice with
