Knitting Next Steps is for those who have mastered knit and purl stitches and eager to move beyond simple projects. Explore how to combine these stitches to craft intricate textures and patterns, unlocking endless creative possibilities.In this interactive workshop, learn essential techniques like increase and decrease stitches needed to shape garments, create button holes and even embellish your work with lace sections. Additionally, Judith will cover vital finishing touches, from sewing pieces together to blocking for a polished finish.
Each participant will create swatch samples to take home, along with exclusive knitting patterns by Judith to continue practicing your skills. Whether you aspire to design garments or refine your technique, this workshop provides the knowledge and confidence for your knitting journey’s next stage.
Knitting Next Steps is led by seasoned tutor Judith Schur, whose passion for knitting dates back to childhood. As well as this, she holds a City and Guilds certification in Hand Knitting and Design. This workshop suits those who’ve completed a Beginners Knitting workshop or possess a basic grasp of casting on, knit, and purl stitches. Join her and unleash your knitting potential!
Level: For those with basic skills and those whose skills need a refresh or confidence boost.
