About this Event

Have you seen people using vintage knitting machines online and are interested in learning more? Want to know what it feels like to knit on a metal machine vs a plastic one?
I have just moved into a new space with room to get out a buch of machines at once, and thought you all might like to see them!
I will be giving a short talk about the machines at 6, and will be around to answer questions that you may have about how to get started, or what machine might be best for you.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: The space is on the ground floor and accessible, but there is a small lip and two relatively heavy doors with no door opener on the route to the bathroom. I am happy to show you around the space before the open house (either in person or remotely via video call) to assess if this is navigable for any mobility issues.
