ℹ️ Please note: One or two café volunteers will be present during the workshop to manage the café and offer drinks.

✨ ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Calling all parents and parents-to-be who enjoy crafting, knitting or crocheting — or who are simply curious to try 🧵

Whether you are a complete beginner or already working on a project, this gentle workshop offers a calm and welcoming space to slow down, stitch with intention, and connect with others in your neighbourhood.

There is no pressure to finish an object and no fixed outcome. The focus is on being together, sharing a creative moment, and enjoying a mindful pause in your day 🌿

Clara, our workshop leader, will be present to facilitate the space and offer support whenever needed, while leaving room for everyone to move at their own pace.

– A relaxed and mindful knitting and crochet session
– Gentle guidance for beginners and space for personal projects
– A warm and supportive atmosphere with other parents and parents-to-be
– Time to connect, share experiences, or simply enjoy a quiet creative moment
– One free tea to enjoy during the session ☕

👶 Babies and young children (up to 1 year old) are warmly welcome
Please note that our café does not have toilet or changing facilities.

🧺 WHAT TO BRING

– Your own knitting needles or crochet hooks and yarn, if you have them
– For beginners, we recommend larger needles or hooks (6–10 mm) and chunky yarn

If you do not have materials, beginner-friendly tools and yarn will be available for use during the workshop.

💛 If you use any of our knitting needles, hooks or yarn, we kindly ask you to return them at the end so others can enjoy them too.

10:00–10:15 Welcome and gentle icebreaker

10:15–11:25 Knitting and crochet time 🧶

11:25–11:30 Wrapping up together

This first session is planned as a starting point, with the intention of becoming a regular bi-weekly workshop.

We keep the group small to create a calm and cozy atmosphere, so places are limited. If you would like to join, we recommend reserving your spot in advance ✨

If something comes up and you can’t make it, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event are eligible for a refund.
