Have you ever wanted to learn to knit? If you have tried and failed or are a complete beginner, local fiber artist Ginger Stoops can help. In this class, you will learn the basics and complete a beginner-friendly pair of fingerless gloves to take off the chill.
The gloves are knitted with bulky #6 yarn that is perfect for beginners. All yarn is provided, and we will have needles and other necessary equipment for you to borrow. If you wish to bring your own needles, this project uses size 15.
Cost: $5
Age: 10+
Class limited to 15, so be sure to preregister to hold your spot. Call the Parks Department at 419-522-9801 to reserve your spot. Participants must pay first to be registered for the class.
