Come hang out and learn how to knit your very own cozy hat from scratch!
About this Event

This is a 4 week long course that meets on November 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 30th from 6pm to 8pm.

Learn to knit! No knitting experience needed. Students will learn the following knitting techniques and leave with a finished beanie that can be made in 10 sizes (newborn thru adult large)


  • Gauge Swatching
  • Casting on
  • Knit Stitch
  • Purl Stitch
  • Knitting Flat
  • Knitting in the Round
  • Using Double Pointed Needles
  • Knittng Decreases
  • Casting Off
  • Blocking
  • Caring for hand knit items
