Socks can be an intimidating project, but they're a lot of fun to knit!Before you know it you'll be addicted to knitting them.
In these classes you'll learn:
Class 1
1. Working with circular needles and the Magic Loop and starting the cuff.
2. Dividing for the heel flap and knitting the heel flap
Use the time in between classes to knit the rest of the heel flap (must do homework)
Class 2
3. Turning the heel
4. Working the gusset
Use the time in between classes to knit to the toe (must do homework).
Class 3
5. Toe shaping
6. Kitchener stitch (grafting the toe)
You'll need:
100g of worsted weight yarn (200m), 1 circular needle 3.75mm/US5, 80cm long (available to buy at the store).
We'll be making short socks, the goal is to learn the techniques!
Pattern & instruction booklet included.
Must take part in all three classes.
When:
Class 1: November 5, 2025
Class 2: November 19, 2025
Class 3: December 3, 2025, all from 5:00pm-7:00pm
All classes are held at our store, 33118A First Avenue, Mission BC.
Costs:
*$80.00 for three classes
