You have learned how to knit and purl now learn the next step, knitting in the round. Make your first hat for yourself or a loved one.
In this class you will learn to knit in the round, create a rib using knit and purl stitches and make decreases at the crown. The pattern used is the Love That Cold Hat and will be provided in your class materials. Please bring with you or purchase from the store 16” circular US10 ½ needle, US10 ½ Double Pointed Needle set and tapestry needle. The yarn selected for this class is Malabrigo Chunky. Yarn & Needles can be purchased at the shop with a 10% off discount for this class. The instructor recommends a bamboo needle for this project.
Skill level: Beginner knitter, comfortable with knit and purl stitches.
