So, you've learned to knit and you know the basics. Maybe you have tried a scarf and/or a hat? But what to do next... what about a sweater?! It’s the next step! If you've looked at patterns for top-down, seamless sweaters but don't know how to start, this is the class for you.
Linda is ready to take you through the steps and skills required to make your very own mini-sweater for you to take home and use as a template to make an adult garment down the track (it will fit a one year old when you're finished).
You will learn:
We will begin by casting on together, joining in the round and working the sweater from the top down in one piece. Along the way the techniques we will cover are:
Knitting in the round (you should be familiar with Magic Loop)
Increasing and decreasing
Ribbing
How to knit small circumferences
Picking up stitches
Finishing underarms
Sewing in ends.
Book now for this practical class which will lead you through all the techniques needed to knit your very own seamless top-down mini-sweater.
