Calling ALL Knitters and Crocheters, grab your needles and hooks, some yarn, a friend or two, and come and knit for a bit!
The final Knit In for 2025 will be Saturday, November 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Normal Public Library, 206 W. College Ave. in Normal. Knitters and crocheters are welcome to come and create charity items or work on their own projects in the company of like-minded crafters.
This quarter’s featured projects are making hats and scarves for the Museum’s Warming Fence. Last year we debuted the Museum's Warming Fence and we gave away over 200 hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens to those in need. Adult and Child sizes needed (no baby). Any pattern, any color will work!
Free parking will be available at Normal Public Library. Additional paid parking will be available at the College Avenue Parking Deck near the library as well.
