Crochet or Knit apparel for Maddie’s Mitten March, Senior Services, Illinois Cancer Specialists, DCFS Foster care and Phil's Friends
The crochet and knit-a-thon is sponsored by the North Aurora Lions Club. We will be collecting yarn from the community for that day. Feel free to bring your own yarn stash. We will be providing lunch to participants.
Just a beginner? No problem! We will have simple patterns for hats that anyone can do!
You want to help, but don’t knit or crochet?
● DONATE your yarn stash or new skeins in the Messenger Library Foyer!
● Donate your gently used or new winter gear! Hats, gloves, scarves, coats......There will be a drop box in the library foyer or stop by the event!
● You knit and crochet, but cannot attend on February 22nd? We will still take your creations! You may drop them by the library at any time! Look for the yarn drop box in the foyer or contact Lion Lynn for a pickup.
