Knit an Icelandic Sweater
Advertisement
This course is to learn how to knit a traditional Icelandic sweater, which is knit from the bottom up. We will be knitting the Stapavík sweater designed by Rakel, the Knitter from Iceland. During the course, you will learn how to knit colourwork, how to do sleeves and how to put it all together midway before knitting the yoke at the top. You’ll have homework in between sessions to get to the next part of the pattern and if you need support between sessions, that support is just a mouse click away! The pattern is knit on 6 mm needles, so you will see it grow nice and quickly.
The course is 5 sessions long, from 7:30-9:30 pm on 20/5, 3/6, 17/6, 8/7 and 29/7
