Date: August 8th (Saturday)
Time: Be there at 8:30am - Games start 9:00am sharp! No exceptions.
Location: Harding's Freshman Field
Entrance Fee: $80
Deposit Fee: $20
Total of $100
Prize: Medals (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
$10 off entrance fee if you or someone you know brings a net.
Rules:
Maximum number of 8 players for each team, 1 of the opposite gender must be on field.
Your game is determined by your refs! Any calls from the ref are final.
If a team is 10 minutes late they'll have to forfeit that match. All teams must be ready to go at 8am. (All members must be present).
INTERNATIONAL RULES
-Round Robin 2 sets, sweep = 3 points and split = 1 each
-Top two from each pools move to the 8-team single elimination bracket
-If there's a tie for points then we'll use point differentials
-The team with a bye in the first round will ref the first game
Additional Information:
Cutoff at 16 teams.
Teams will be responsible for their spectator's behavior and actions.
!! No alcohol or smoking on the premises !!
Violation and Rules:
Maximum amount of 8 members per team
General park rules, INTERNATIONAL
Any net touch is not allowed and will be called by the ref
You can step on the line as long as it doesn't interfere with the play or opposing player(s), but you CANNOT step over the line and can be called by the ref.
Setter does not have to rotate and player rotations must be legal.
There is no crossing the 10 foot line on backrow attacks. Refs will call the play dead if they see it. You can double on the first touch and setting doubles are playable (first touch double meaning if they were to set it. NOT, touch it two times)
If a team is 10 minutes late they will be forfeited for that match. All teams must be ready to go at 8:00AM. (All members must be present)
Losing teams are to ref the next game that plays on the same court.
