Location: Knapp Land Nature Preserve
Join us for a tour of Knapp Canyon along the Powerline Trail located in Northeast El Paso. This hike will include an overview of the geology and native plant life; we may see some wildlife in this region. In collaboration with Frontera Land Alliance.
Distance: 2 miles
Duration: ~2 hours
Difficulty: Moderate
Best for: All ages
IMPORTANT: This trail does have some steep inclines and descents. Please do not block driveways in the residential area near the trail head.
Requirements & What to Bring
- 3-4 liters of water
- Healthy snacks or energy bars
- Hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers
- Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
- Light jacket and small backpack
- Walking sticks recommended
