We’re launching our Klub Nos Lowen season with an explosive start - get dancing on the right foot!Door 7.30pm & 7.45pm Dance workshop
8.30pm – Bands:
Dalla Duo - Neil Davey and Hilary Coleman are very well known to anyone familiar with Cornish traditional music. Founding members of Skillywidden, Dalla Duo offer a celebration of the very best of Cornish traditional music in all its varied glory, from wild and mesmerising dance tunes to beautifully haunting slower pieces. This includes instrumentals on bouzouki and clarinet, as well as songs in Cornish and in English.
Armenez - And tonight the duo will be joined by DJ Armenez; his tight rolling minimal tunes, other-worldly atmospheres & gothic sound design present a perfect backdrop to Dalla’s trad music.
'Rollicking sets of tunes... Some are given an almost klezmer feel by Hilary’s clarinet, some showcase Neil’s dazzling bouzouki playing.' (fRoots)
