LONNIE LEVELLE:
Originally from the Midwest, Lonnie LeVelle was introduced to music through his mother, Judi LaVelle. Judi was a signed Western News Records artist who toured with the likes of Ernest Tubb. After a stint in the US Navy as a nuclear submarine torpedo tech, LeVelle began a Carpenter’s Union career. It was during this time that Lonnie’s musical genes took root, and he began tinkering with songwriting. The creative endeavor eventually led to a publishing deal with BBR/Magic Mustang Music in Nashville as a staff songwriter. LeVelle’s Nashville experiences, and the desire to supplement songwriting, saw Lonnie adding professional tour bus driver to his resume. Just a few of the artists he drove for include: Chris Stapleton, Marty Stuart, Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, and rock bands Sevendust and Everclear.
Now a resident of Southern Oregon, fans of country and bluegrass music may be familiar with a few of Lonnie’s tunes. His “Wreckin’ the Train” was a bluegrass chart topper performed by IBMA nominated 2009 female vocalist of the year, Alecia Nugent. Mark Newton and Steve Thomas performed “The Key.” Recently, country artist Casey Chesnutt climbed the charts with one of LeVelle’s co-writes, “Even Texas Couldn’t Hold Her.”

SISTER RAVEN:
Compelled to create music together, Sister Raven is the collaboration of Iowa transplant Ravyn Sanford and established Southern Oregon multi-talent, Erin Barker. The two were part of the wildly, locally popular group Mother Crow Sister Raven. As a duet, Ravyn and Erin present songs crossing folk, rock, and various genre boundary lines. With acoustic guitar work and beautiful yet powerful melodies and harmonies, a Sister Raven performance is a captivating experience showcasing synergy in action.
