K+Lab & Ashez team up for a special night at Neck of the Woods, joined by Chunga and Mufasa.
K+Lab has spent over a decade carving out a distinct lane in bass music, blending heavy electronic production with hip hop influence and live performance energy. Now based in Melbourne, he’s built a global reputation for high-impact sets that go far beyond a standard DJ performance famously incorporating keytar, live elements, and a fully immersive visual world of custom animation and 3D design that turns every show into a full audiovisual experience.
His music has landed on influential labels like LSDREAM’s Trippy Bee, CloZee’s Odyzey, Gramatik’s Lowtemp, Westwood Recordings and Philos Records, and he’s taken that sound to stages across Red Rocks, Shambhala, Electric Forest and Bass Coast.
He also launched his own imprint Junkfood Records, a platform supporting bass and hip hop influenced artists and collaborations.
Ashez is currently making serious moves on an international level, with a rapidly growing presence in the US bass circuit and strong support across the scene, including recognition from CloZee. Alongside a steady run of releases and collaborations, he’s been stepping into larger festival stages and touring circuits, further cementing his position in the new wave of bass music. He is also behind the newly launched festival "Resonance" marking a major next step in his expansion from artist to event curator and scene builder.
Chunga brings a fresh wave of energy to the lineup, known for deep, sharp, forward-thinking selections and a style that moves fluidly between bass-heavy rollers,filthy and more experimental swung out textures. With a growing presence in the scene and a reputation for unpredictable, high-impact sets, he’s quickly becoming a name to watch within the next generation of NZ electronic artists.
