✨ What to Expect
4:00–5:00 PM — Workshop
This class will be our GINGA Edition!
Ginga is the natural movement of the body and hips that gives Kizomba its signature flow, softness, and grounded feeling. Rather than forcing movement, ginga emerges from weight transfers, relaxation, and connection to the music.
This workshop will focus on developing a more natural and comfortable ginga, helping dancers move with greater fluidity, confidence, and musical expression. Whether you're new to Kizomba or have been dancing for years, deepening your understanding of ginga can transform the way your dance feels and connects to the music.
5:00–6:00 PM — Social Dancing
Put what you learned into practice and enjoy an hour of relaxed dancing with others in the community while taking in the beautiful waterfront setting.

• Some dance experience is helpful, but not required• Beginners: come ready to learn and explore movement• Intermediate dancers: refine your technique and deepen your expression• Advanced dancers: reconnect with the fundamentals that make Kizomba feel effortless
Everyone is welcome — come solo or with a partner!

About the Instructor
Elena has been dancing Kizomba for over 10 years. Her passion for the dance has taken her to international festivals and countless hours on the dance floor, learning from top instructors and refining her connection, technique, and musicality. Before the pandemic, she traveled regularly to Montreal to immerse herself in the Kizomba community. Now, as a mother of two, she's excited to reconnect with the dance community and share the joy, movement, and connection that make Kizomba so special.
