Bio
Jonathan and Lydia are a dynamic Kizomba couple who in 2023 won the prestigious Kizomba UK Open Competition. This victory propelled them onto the international stage, where they achieved a remarkable 3rd place finish in the Kizomba & Semba category at the Paris Olimpiads of Kizomba in 2024. This groundbreaking achievement solidified their position as pioneers, becoming the first UK couple to bring home a medal from this renowned global competition.
Beyond their competitive success, Jonathan and Lydia are dedicated educators. They are esteemed members of the Kizomba Next Level Team, alongside Jeydikson Lima, where they impart their expertise through weekly classes. Continuously striving for excellence, they remain committed to refining their own dancing while passionately sharing their knowledge and skills with aspiring Kizomba dancers.
