In Western North Carolina, that means newborn litters only days old, underweight kittens struggling to survive, and fragile lives that depend on immediate, around-the-clock care. For neonatal kittens, preparation isn’t helpful — it’s lifesaving.
Kitten Season Kickstart is our community open house and final push before peak season hits.
During this drop-in event, you’ll:

✅ Understand what “around-the-clock care” truly requires
✅ Meet the team — staff, fosters, and volunteers — who make survival possible

Throughout the afternoon, we’ll share short, repeatable talks and guided mini-tours so you can arrive at any time and still experience the full picture.
We are currently working to ensure we enter peak season fully prepared — with formula stocked, medical funds secured, and foster homes ready when the next fragile litter arrives.
