The Jaz'N'theViolin String Band will open for the movie 'Louie Bluie' - a film about violinist Howard Armstrong made by noted documentarian Terry Zwigoff (Crumb, Ghost World, Bad Santa). Armstrong came to Zwigoff'd attention as the fiddler in a 1930 recording by the Stringband 'The Tennessee Chocolate Drops.' He then discovered that he was still alive and playing in 1985 in Chicago, and decided to film him in action for his very first film.
