Kirtland Melonheads Evening Encounter

The Melonheads were a group of caged children that escaped from a laboratory that did experiments on them. They ran into the Kirtland forest and grew up as feral animals. The Melonheads are still occasionally sighted along Wisnor Road in Kirtland, Ohio.
Another scary part of Kirtland history is The murderous cult lead by Jeffrey Lundgren who held meetings in a barn along Chardon Rd. (RT.6)
We will experience a scary evening starting with a 20-minute talk about the Jeffry Lundgren cult and murders. This cult met at a barn once located where The New Promise Church now stands.
We will meet at 7:00PM SHARP at the parking lot of New Promise Church where we will learn about this insidious cult and their leader.
Next, we will drive following each other, about 10 minutes to Wisnor Road where there has been many sightings of The Melonheads! There we will learn about The Melonheads (20 minutes) followed by a short hike along Wisnor Road, searching for these feral humanoids living in the forest. We will cross Crybaby Bridge where people have often heard the cries of a baby....
BRING FLASHLIGHTS! Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes for the short road night hike.
We will conclude our evening with a 3-minute drive to a bonfire gathering in the woods where we will be served donuts and hot apple cider, mingling and telling scary stories.
Choose Friday October 23rd or Saturday, October 24th for this fun scary evening. Cost is $35.00 for adults and $15 for children with an adult 16 years old and under DM me, Loren Naji for registration before October 1st! If rain is forecasted, the event will be on either the 23rd or the 24th.
