Join us for a soul-nourishing afternoon of kirtan with Bhakti Vijaya - a rising kirtan band devoted to honoring the power and beauty of devotional singing and mantra chanting. As summer gently gives way to fall, we’ll gather in the warmth of Nu Movement Studio to share in the uplifting energy of sacred sound.
WHAT IS KIRTAN?
Kirtan is a devotional practice of singing mantras - a form of bhakti yoga, the yoga of love and devotion. Through music and sacred sound, we turn our hearts toward the Divine.
It’s a participatory experience where you're invited to sing, listen, clap, or simply sit in stillness. The band members will be playing yogic songs and singing live! However, Kirtan is not about performance - it’s about connection. As we sing together, we enter a space beyond the mind, where the heart opens and joy naturally arises.

After the kirtan session, and if you feel inspired to stay, enjoy a cup of tea, light snacks, and a conversation with the band and fellow participants. Whether you’re brand new to kirtan or a longtime lover of devotional music, you’re warmly welcome to join us.
