The next 8 week in-person kirtan training taught by Harreson Sito, founder of the Vancouver Community Kirtan will start on Tuesday June 18, 2024 7pm.
In these 8 weeks you will learn:
- to play chords on the harmonium
- basic Western music theory
- 3 chants (2 Sanskrit and 1 English)
And you will have the opportunity to:
- practice facilitating kirtan in a safe supportive space
- improve your confidence in leading kirtan
No music experience is required. Both playing the harmonium and singing basics will be taught.
Tuesdays 7 - 9 pm, June 18th - August 6th, 2024
