Welcome to an afternoon of singing together - kirtan and other songs of the heart and spirit.
In yoga, this is known as Bhakti yoga, the path of the heart or devotion. When we sing together, mantras and songs that are connected to the heart and the spirit, we evoke powerful feeling states and connections that can carry us off to other dimensions. As they say: we bypass the rational mind and lift ourselves up high on the waves of pure feeling and experience.
It has long been scientifically established that singing together creates connection and removes feelings of loneliness and isolation. All spiritual traditions across space and time used song or chanting in some form to get closer to the spirit - internally and externally.
I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you!
You dont need any special skills nor any previous experience. Showing up is enough (and already a great step) and a little curiosity goes a long way.
These sessions are donation based.
