Join Katie and John for an intimate evening of devotional chanting, transformational songs, and community. This mantra-folk artist, steeped in the roots of devotion, shares stories, chants and emotionally crafted songs from her heart. Katie Wise is an American conscious-music artist fusing devotional mantra with contemporary folk and roots Americana. She has played some of the biggest sacred music festivals in the world (Bhakti Fest, Hanuman Festival, Arise, Festival of Colors, Mammoth Yoga Festival, Holistic Manchester, Bhakti Love Reunion and more), and shared the stage with many leading chant artists (like Donna DeLory, Deva Premal and Miten, David Newman, Girish, Brenda McMorrow, Wah, and Sean Johnson).
Yoga Magazine UK says Katie’s “modern offering mixes ancient spiritual vocals with mantra-and-pop-music mash-ups to provide a refreshingly hip spiritual and musical journey,” and sacred mantra artist David Newman calls Katie "a force and presence for those who look to their music for peace, heart, groove, and spiritual inspiration.”
Katie makes Kirtan accessible and fun, creating a sacred space for all - even for those new to the practice. Her events are family friendly, and no experience is necessary.
