As the first community Kirtan gathering in Topeka, our hope is to create a space where people from all backgrounds can experience the beauty that emerges when voices and hearts come together.
Kirtan is the practice of singing transcendent mantras together as an offering to the divine. It is not a performance. This is about presence. You do not need to sing well, you only need to practice sincerely.
Come as you are, sing if you feel called, listen if you'd prefer and allow the practice of kirtan to quiet the mind and open the heart.
