Get ready for another Kirribilli social extravaganza â introducing our 3rd Kirribilli Runners #rundrinkrepeat Games (incorporating The Beer Mile). The current Beer Mile champion and inaugural winner of this prestigious event is yours truly Brian Gore. I will be in some serious training to defend this title.Join us from 1pm at the Kirribilli Hotel for a pre-run drink before we embark on the Beer Mile at Anderson Park in Neutral Bay for a 2pm Race Start.

"A beer mile is a 1-mile (1.6 km) drinking race combining running and speed drinking. The race begins at the 1-mile starting line with the consumption of 1 375ml can of beer, followed by a full lap around the track. The second lap continues in a similar manner; another beer is consumed before commencing the running of the second lap, then the third and the fourth. Following the completion of the fourth running lap (and four beers), a competitor has finished the race."

No alcohol pressure! Join us, rep the red, and relish the afternoon with your fellow KRs. If you're up for the beer mile then pack 5 cans and let the fun begin! See you there! We will also be running a separate female event, beer replaced with spritzers etc. Plus a relay event
