What is this roundtable about?

Aligned to the Health Working Lives initiative, we are exploring how we can enable businesses to take on and support more individuals with dependencies, ex forces, offenders, women returners (returning from maternity, long term sick etc), care leavers. Supporting our districts to have a more inclusive and equitable workforce

Why is this roundtable important?

This second phase of research has been commissioned by West Yorks Combined Authority and aims to bring all 5 districts activities and support together to celebrate, showcase and highlight the work taking place - it is not designed to duplicate existing information and support.

Why you should take part

This roundtable creates a space for connection, sharing insights and challenges, learning best practice, improving recruitment and retention, building confidence and capability, influencing future support, reducing duplication, unlocking resources, fostering partnerships, showcasing existing work and ultimately helping create a more inclusive and equitable workforce.
