This year we are introducing a half marathon option! Numbers are limited so do not delay registering! Kirikiriroa Marathon is more than just a run, it is a celebration of community, wellbeing, and movement along one of Kirikiriroa’s most iconic spaces, the Te Awa River Path.
Proudly locally run and committee led, this event is built by the community, for the community. Our goal is to keep the Kirikiriroa Marathon affordable, welcoming, and inclusive, making it the perfect place for first timers to give the “big” one a go! Whether it is the marathon, half marathon or a relay with mates there is a distance just for you!
Expect stunning river views, undulating foot paths that keep things interesting! Modern bridges and boardwalks, and the most supportive race day atmosphere where participation matters just as much as performance.
Run, walk, or relay your way through the Kirikiriroa experience, the challenge of the course, and the pride of crossing the finish line at Hamilton Garden, all while supporting a volunteer driven community event that brings people together.
