Kinusaiga: Japanese Fabric Art - Beginner Workshop
Discover the beautiful Japanese art of Kinusaiga, sometimes called “painting with fabric.” In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create a 6" × 6" fall-inspired artwork using fabric carefully tucked into a prepared design, no sewing required!
Participants may choose from one of three fall-themed designs pictured and then make it their own through their individual fabric selections. Because everyone will choose and combine fabrics differently, no two finished pieces will look exactly alike, that’s part of the fun! This workshop is designed especially for beginners, so no previous experience is necessary. All materials and instruction are provided, including fabric, foam board, adhesive, and a metal easel for displaying your finished piece.
