Kinusaiga: Treadless Quilting, Painting with Fabric, Fabric Tucking, fun no matter what you call it! This art is part quilting, part collage, and all creativity. This unique technique uses colorful pieces of fabric tucked into a prepared base to create a richly textured, quilt-like work of art, all without a single stitch.
Perfect for beginners, this relaxing, hands-on class is all about playing with color, pattern & texture while learning something new. Everything you need is included, with two patterns to choose from and a variety of fabrics to make an art piece unique to you, just come ready to create.
And of course there will be mead! Mead tasting, mead cocktail, or glass of mead included in the ticket; NA beverages also available. Bottles and light snacks available for purchase.
The second pattern and tool are yours to take home when you love this art form. It's a great way to use scraps of material or upcycle old clothes.
Tickets may be moved to another class up until 24 hours before event.
