This Creative Social gathering is about more than making a beautiful project. We're putting the SOCIAL in The Creative Social Group with a relaxed potluck dinner, time to visit and make new friends, and a hands-on Kintsugi-inspired experience.
🥘 This is a potluck, so bring a dish to share!
We'll provide Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea, water, plates, cups, napkins, and utensils.
Then it's time to create!
You'll start with a beautiful bowl, break it, and then put it back together using a Kintsugi-inspired technique that turns the cracks into beautiful golden details.
Kintsugi is inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery while highlighting, rather than hiding, its imperfections. Instead of pretending the breaks never happened, they become part of what makes the finished piece beautiful.
