On Friday, October 16th from 7-9 pm, Devine Carama will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his critically acclaimed album, Kingtucky, at The Farish Theater (inside the downtown Lexington Public Library).
"Kingtucky, a rap alias of Devine Carama since the late 90's, is also the name of an album series that now has 4 parts spanning from 2016-2024. The series relinquishes some of the more political & social commentary that dominates the majority of Carama's discography and focuses on the technical skills of rhyming over hard-hitting boom bap beats."
Join us at The Farish Theater (inside the downtown Lexington Public Library) on Friday, October 16th as we celebrate HIP HOP by representing all 4 original elements of HIP-HOP CULTURE: DJ, MC, Dance, & Graffiti.
